Video & Remote Interpreting
When working with interpreters, it is essential to understand the different categories or styles of interpreting that best suit your particular needs. That’s where the professional interpreters at Language Innovations come in.
Video Conference Interpreting (VCI)
Video Conference Interpreting is used when multiple participants, speaking different languages, from separate locations need to communicate via video conference. Both Consecutive and Simultaneous Interpreting can be implemented for VCI based on your specific set up, technological needs, budget and desired flow of communication.
Interpreters will be sent to the location of your video conference, allowing you to connect with geographically distant participants who do not share your common language. Video Conference Interpreting is best implemented when translations are required between English and one other language.
Remote Conference Interpreting (RCI)
Remote Conference Interpreting is designed for the scenario when there are multiple off-site participants, each speaking different languages, who are attending a conference remotely. RCI is a Simultaneous Interpreting style that is supported by a team of our professional interpreters. The technology used for RCI enables your multilingual meeting to accommodate remote participants who can both listen and speak in their preferred language. Furthermore, our advanced audio interface can accommodate up to 15 languages.
The meeting moderator keeps full control over requests to speak and who is heard on the floor channel. The online dashboard allows the moderator to view and control who is present, what languages are being used and dial-out to new participants as needed.
