Document Screening
It is common for a client to receive a large quantity of documents in one or more foreign languages for a project, but only certain/specific documents require translation. The volume of documents can be delivered to our offices for review or we will send the appropriate language-specific reviewer(s) to your offices to go over the documents and ‘flag’ the materials that contain the precise subject matter that you have indicated you want translated.
For example, a law firm receives 10 banker’s boxes of German and Japanese documents relating to a patent infringement litigation and the attorneys working on the case are only interested at the moment in documents pertaining to the specifications of the patent and perhaps related communications. Our translators will identify those specific documents requiring translation, saving the law firms’ client time and money. |
